Human Health Care
The very basic need in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa & FATA is provision of basic health facilities. Too
many problems are associated with lack of awareness about healthy life needs as well access to
health services. That is why AICD has initiated awareness and intervention in human health care;
a) Sanitation and drainage
b) Drinking water supply
c) Vaccination and immunization
d) Maternal and new born health care
e) Reproductive health care and population welfare
f) Nutrition
g) Primary health care
Education
The literacy rate especially for female is very low. That is why AICD has initiated steps in
education:-
a) Achieving 100% literacy rate
b) Provision of Basic Education
c) Free education
d) Educational environment
e) Increasing interest of parents towards their children education, especially female
education
f) Education facilities
g) Skill training
Human Rights
AICD believes in promotion and implementation of human rights especially women/children
rights to have a better civil society in the region.
a) Rights of children, women, labourers, and prisoners.
b) Disabled and destitute.
c) Drug abuse/ detoxification (production, addiction, & supply).
Environment
1. Afforestation.
2. Management of environment through reduction in its contamination by
transport, biologics and chemicals.
3. Biodiversity of animals and plants nurseries.
Social Mobilization
Social mobilization and awareness of general-publics about education, human
rights, women, health and social justice.
Human Resource Development (HRD)
To build capacities of the down trodden communities to get awareness and technical know-how
for;
a. Self-employment, income generation and productivity enhancement through
technology transfer
b. Handicrafts and cultural preservation
c. Credit and enterprise development
d. Advocacy
e. Community Development through software services
f. Formal and non-formal education
Note:
AICD has taken initiatives in some sectors but tends to expand its activities under
other demand driven sectors as per requirement and representation of the
community.
